Download EPET

This is the latest EPET delivery, packed in the ZIP file - meaning that you have to have WinZip or some other program, in order to view/extract the contents.

  • Extract all the files on your computer - to the directory of your choice (for example, "C:\EPET"). You should have the following files under the directory:

    • C:\EPET\EPET.exe
    • C:\EPET\StdArray.dll
    • C:\EPET\Database.dll
    • C:\EPET\Graphics.dll
    • C:\EPET\Space3d.dll
    • C:\EPET\EPET.mdb
    • C:\EPET\Register.bat

  • From the File Manager, go to the "C:\EPET" directory and run (double-click) the Register.bat file. It will register the COM components used by the EPET executable file.

  • From the same directory, run the EPET.exe program. The very first time you have to open the database (the filename is: C:\EPET\EPET.mdb); then the program will remember the filename. I assume that your computer (most systems do) support the Microsoft Access database. If not, please install the driver. All your data will be saved to a single file. NOTE: some dialog box asking you to enter System DSN might appear. If so, cancel it. Go to the menu "Project", select "Open Database". Click on the Browse Button and select the C:\EPET\EPET.mdb, - or just enter the name into the edit control. You don't have to enter the User Name field or the Password field. Click OK. The database is loaded at this time.
